Formerly Alvord, Burdick & Howson, AB&H has earned a reputation for planning and designing facilities that are functional, easily operated and maintained, and cost-effective. Several projects have been recognized with awards from the American Council of Engineering Companies, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and other organizations.
AB&H has served clients throughout the United States and in several foreign countries, combining state-of-the-art technologies with proven experience to meet individual project needs. Comprehensive services, from preliminary studies and planning through design and construction phase services, are performed in-house by registered professional engineers specializing in process, civil, hydraulic, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering. These professionals utilize the most up-to-date equipment and methods. Continuing education, professional involvement and service to professional societies are high priorities at AB&H. Members of the firm are active in organizations such as American Water Works Association, Water Environment Federation, American Public Works Association and the American Society of Civil Engineers. A number of past national presidents of these organizations came from AB&H.
